12 Dos and 12 Don'ts (people young)

Practical fellowship from the Summer College Training 2006, Eugene, Oregon. With the spirit of love, Brother Chen’s gave the college saints 24 recommendations for the rest of our college life:

12 DOS:

1. Consecrate your entire college life to God, specifically for His will and purpose.

2. Try as much as possible to attend a college where there is a church life.

3. Get yourself attach with even live with other saints who pursue the Lord like you.

4. Attach yourself to the older saints, they are your protection.

5. Build up a spiritual and healthy habit: have morning revival; have pray life and read the Bible.

6. Be living, proper aggressive, active in spirit. Practice your gifts that build up the Body of Christ. Fill yourself with positive things: such as going to meetings, keeping speaking.

7. Gain remaining fruits. In your campus, you’ll see so many fish! You own them the word, the ministry.

8. Build up of a habit of giving: money, energy, time. Learn to give! Do something bigger than yourself!

9. Study hard, be diligent, and improve your skills, pick up second, third languages; not for yourself but for the Lord.

10. Attend the seven feasts every year. You need this kind of infusion. Learn to follow the ministry closely. Without this ministry we will be dead.

11. Be a pattern to the saints. Do not despite your youth. How you behave affects the next generation.

12. Join to the full time training! FTT trains you, matures you, and perfects you to be a God-man, a Body builder.

12 DON'TS:

1. Don't live a double life. Don’t have a dark side that nobody knows.

2. Don’t be a loner, individual. The protection is in the Body.

3. Be aware of philosophy. Don't study the “ism” courses in your college. They undermine your faith. Some Christians even can’t get back faith after they studied philosophy. We need to flee from it and get into the word of God.

4. Stay away from fornication, immoral relationship, and homosexuality, sex outside of marriage. Preserve yourself for the Lord.

5. Stay away from the evil of the internet, especially pornography.

6. Computer games. Computer games are the substitutes of reality. You will lose control.

7. TV, movies. The messages corrupt your moral, promote violence, glorify evil, pollute your mind, and waste your time.

8. Drugs, alcohol.

9. Don't hand out with unclean people. Be with the unclean you will be unclean. There is no fellowship between believers and darkness.

10. Don't study anything unprofitable in college, such as the “isms”.

11. Don't get yourself overly consume with school that cost your church life. You can’t finish your homework because you do not study, not because of the meetings.

12. Never use worldly means such as rock music, drama to gain people. The only means are prayer, the word and the spirit.
